To ensure an optimal barn climate year-round, we combine natural ventilation with the use of fans.
- Reducing heat stress– Animals can begin to suffer from heat stress already at temperatures above 20°C. During summer, the system remains fully open and the fans operate automatically, ensuring optimal milk production and growth performance.
- Dry air, lower risk of infections– Ventilation keeps the barn drier, making it more difficult for pathogens to survive and reducing the risk of disease spread.
- Natural ventilation without drafts- Fresh air enters from the upper section and exits from the opposite side, creating even cross ventilation without harmful drafts. Depending on the barn design, longitudinal ventilation is also possible.
- Ventilation adjusted by age group– Curtains and fans for young animals and adult animals are controlled separately according to the needs of each group.
- Automatic climate control– A climate computer controls the curtains and fans around the clock, taking into account temperature, humidity, wind, precipitation, and light intensity. During extreme heat, misting systems are activated; during cold conditions, heating is controlled automatically.
